Financial Director
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy, structure, and operational excellence of a fast-scaling international FinTech/PSP company. This is a fully remote position, requiring deep expertise in payments, high-risk acquiring, eCommerce processing, or crypto-related financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Management
- Financial planning, budgeting, and long-term forecasting.
- Monitoring and controlling the execution of financial and contractual obligations.
- Building and optimizing financial workflows, models, and reporting frameworks.
Leadership & Operations
- Supervising and developing the Finance Department; building a high-performing team.
- Owning both internal and external reporting processes.
- Creating payout calendars, reconciliation frameworks, KPI calculations, commission structures, and other operational finance mechanics.
Processes & Automation
- Selecting and implementing automation tools to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
- Establishing requirements and coordinating with developers/IT to automate reporting, payouts, and financial operations.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and understanding the regulatory and legal framework of PSP/FinTech.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years in a senior finance role (CFO / Head of Finance) in one of the following domains:
- PSP / FinTech companies.
- International eCommerce processing / high-risk acquiring / crypto acquiring.
- Financial departments of large acquirers, payment aggregators, or processors.
Additional expectations:
- Proven experience in building a Finance function from scratch or deeply restructuring an existing one — must.
- Experience with cryptocurrencies, settlements, and crypto-based merchant/provider payments — a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and process optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Confluence, CRM systems, Jira or analogs; ability to write technical requirements for developers.
- Expertise in financial modeling, dashboards, P&L, Cash Flow, and unit economics.
- Experience in reconciliations, payout structures, KPI frameworks, agency commission calculations, and bonuses.
- Familiarity with legal and compliance processes within PSP environments.
